if you want to execute commands as another user:
su - pi /do/something/as/oracle/user

sudo nano /etc/default/grub

GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash"
change it to
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=""

sudo update-grub

open "disks", or "df -h" to find

sudo umount /dev/sdc? # ? is a number, look it up.
sudo dd if=input.iso of=/dev/sdc

• When installing Windows 8, 7, or Vista from USB, you must unplug the USB device before the first restart, otherwise you will receive an error stating:
  "windows setup could not configure windows to run on this computer's hardware"
